Rooted was founded in 2025 to build the kind of native-landscaping business that had been missing in NYC: accessible, mission-driven, and not reserved for the wealthy or horticulturally inclined.
We replace high-maintenance grass lawns with native plants, clover, and pollinator gardens. Beautiful landscapes that largely take care of themselves. No synthetic chemicals, far less mowing, and no luxury price tags.
What we believe

Native only
Every plant we install is native to the Northeast. No ornamental imports. No plants that won't make it through an NYC winter.
No chemicals
No synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. Not because it's trendy, because it's bad for your family, your pets, and the pollinators we're trying to support.
Transparent pricing
Accessible pricing, no upsells, no invented scope. You understand every line on your estimate before we lift a shovel.
